Roxburgh Park, Craigieburn, Wallan & Shepparton . Russell Wood has some 50 years of experience teaching Taekwondo in Australia and Singapore. Russell is still competing in Poomse, Breaking and other Technical events, however, he retired from Sparring at the age of 65 after winning the Australian Masters in Canberra.  During the year 2000 Russell received a Sports Medal from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.  In the 2005 National Competition he won 3 Gold and 3 Silver medals. At the 2006 Victorian Team Selections Russell won 4 Gold Medals followed by a Gold and 2 Silver at 2006 Nationals plus a Citation from the WTF for his contribution to Taekwondo . In 2007 Russell won 5 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 bronze Medal at the Australian Selections and National Muyae Championships. At the 2007 National Championships Russell won 5 Gold & 1 Silver. 2008 resulted in 3 Gold, 2 Silver & 2 Bronze plus 2 Gold Medals at the 3rd Oceania Championships in New Zealand. At the 2009 Australian Masters Russell won 7 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal. Whilst in Europe Russell won Gold, Silver and Bronze at the Belgium 2009 Open Challenge Cup. Russell won A Grade Gold in Korea at the 2010 4th World Taekwondo Expo. Other medals won during 2010 are as follows, Victorian Team Selections 3 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze, Australian National Championships 3 Gold, 1 Silver & 2 Bronze, Pan Pac Masters 2 Gold & 3 Silver. At 2011 New Zealand Open Russell won 5 Gold medals. 2011 T.V.I Muye Competition Russell won 4 Gold & 1 Silver. City West Poomsae Competition 2 Silver. Finalist in the 2011 World Poomsae Championships in Russia. At 2011 T.A National Championships Russell won 3 Gold, 2 Silver & 2 Bronze. Russell also won the Victorian Sports and Recreation Senior Sports Person Award for 2011. Received a Citation from the WTF for his contribution to Taekwondo in 2012 which was presented to him by Grand Master Kyung Chan Kim. Gold Medalist 2012 Moomba Championship. 3 Gold Medals at the 2012 New Zealand Open. 4 Gold for Russell in Poomsae and Board breaking at the April Victorian Technical Championships. 2012 Taekwondo Australia’s Team Selections Russell wins 4 Gold and 1 Silver. At the 2012 Victorian Selections Russell 4 Gold, 3 Silver & 1 Bronze.
At the 2012 World Hanmadang Championships in Korea Russell won 1 Silver & 1 Bronze. Russell also received a WTF Citation and was Graded to 8th Dan whilst in Korea.
2012 Australian National/Festival Champions in Sydney a further 5 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. At the 2013 US Open Russell won Silver and Bronze medals.
At the 2013 Victorian Technical Competition Russell won 4 Gold, 2 Silver & 2 Bronze. 2013 TVI Team Selections resulted in 9 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze for Russ.
The 2013 Festival /Nationals Championships resulted in 10 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 National Champion Trophy. At the 2013 Australian Masters Russ received 2 Gold Medals.
At the STA National Teams Selection Trails Russell won Gold and also won 2 Gold and a Bronze at 2014 New Zealand Taekwondo Open. Completed the OTU Poomsae Judges Seminar in Perth and the WTF Poomsae IR Seminar Taipei June 2014. At 2014 TVI Selections Russell won 1 Gold and another 2 Gold at the STV Selections. Russell won Gold at both the 2014 6th Oceania Championships and the 2014 STA Australian Selections in Sydney. Won Bronze at the WTF 2014 World Poomsae Championships in Mexico.
At the 2014 STA Nationals in Adelaide Russell won 4 Gold. Won 3 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze at the 2015 Arnold Classic. Joyce is a 6th Dan Black Belt and has been actively involved in Taekwondo over the past 25 years. Joyce was awarded best overall Female Competitor in the 3rd Asia Pacific Masters Games in 2002. Joyce recently completed her certificate III in Fitness and has now qualified as a Fitness Instructor. Joyce won 4 Gold,2 Silver and I Bronze Medal at the Victorian 2007 Australian Selections and National Muyae Championships. At the 2007 National Championships Joyce won 6 Gold Medals. 2008 resulted in 2 Gold Medals at the 3rd Oceania Championships in New Zealand. At the 2009 Australian Masters Joyce won 9 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal. In 2010 Joyce won 3 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze at the Victorian Team Selections. At the 2011 T. A. National Championships Joyce won 3 Gold, 3 Silver & 1 Bronze. Silver Medalist 2012 Moomba Championships. At 2012 Victorian Selections Joyce won 1 Gold, 2 Silver & 1 Bronze.
At the 2013 Victorian Technical Competition Joyce wins 3 Gold, 2 Silver & 1 Bronze. The 2013 Festival /Nationals Championships resulted in 7 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze for Joyce. In 2011 Rebecca won 5 Gold in Sparring and Technical events and in 2012 Rebecca won 8 Gold in Sparring and Technical events.  During 2013 Rebecca won 18 Gold in State and National Competitions. 2014 seen Rebecca win 8 Gold and 1 Silver in State, National and the New Zealand Open. So far in 2015 Rebecca has won 5 Gold and 1 Silver in Sparring and Poomsae at the Arnold Classic and State Selections. 2015 STV Selections resulted in 1 Gold & 1 Bronze.

Sammy has been training taekwondo for 26 years, and has been with Koryo Taekwondo Centre for 14 years.
Since joining Koryo Taekwondo Centre, Sammy has won many state, national, and international All Styles,
Fighting and Poomsae awards including:

    Won Gold at the 4th World Taekwondo Culture Expo Competition in Korea (July 2010)

Damien has been participating in Taekwondo for over 32 years. He started his Taekwondo journey at the small Victorian country town of Seymour, where he received his Kukkiwon Black Belt at the age of 14. Damien has competed in numerous Victorian, Nationals, International as well the Arnold Classic Poomsae and Sparring events. He has alos represented Australia quite a few times in Belgium (Gold & Bronze), Korea (Bronze) and New Zealand (Gold & 2 Silver). However, his biggest achievement was to represent Australia at the 2018 World Championship in Taipei with his Pairs Partner  Caroline Suhardjono. The latest international competition that Damien competed in was the 2019 Australian Open and Oceania Presidents Cup which was held in Queensland. The results from these competitions are as follows, at Australian Open  Damien won Silver in the Individual Event and Gold in Mixed Pairs with Caroline Suhardjono. With the Oceania Presidents Cup Damien won Silver in the Individual event and Gold in the Mixed pairs with Caroline Suhardjono.

George is a professional Personal Training, Group Trainer & Fitness Coach. He is passionate about all aspects of health & wellbeing and he enjoys helping people achieve their own fitness goals. George has been involved in Taekwondo for 8 years and has been competing in sparring competitions from the very start. He has won 8 Gold Victorian State medals, 8 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze. He has also won 3 National titles and in 2013 won Gold at the Australian Masters. George also competes in Obstacle Racing competitions throughout the State and country. In 2014 he came second in his age division for the Spartan Beast half marathon in Brisbane.

Caroline has been involved in Taekwondo as a parent for the past 12 years and actively as a Poomsae  athlete for 8 years.
Caroline started her Taekwondo journey by joining Joyce”s Martial Arts to Music in 2011 then move over to full Taekwondo classes at Roxburgh Park in 2012.
Competing as a family team with her two children (one was 13yrs old 1st Dan, and the other 9 yrs old Red belt) was the main motivation to compete in club and to state level and them escalated to National level. Their family team grabbed the Gold Medal in Australian Taekwondo National championships in 2020, when Caroline was still a Yellow Belt level against 2 Black Belt Families.
Pairing with Rebecca Delia from 2012 – 2014 has also resulted in with a number of Gold Medals in States, Nationals and their first International level in the New Zealand Open back in 2014.
She competed W.T Teams with Rebecca Delia and Master Joyce Stivala at the 2015 Australian Taekwondo Open grabbing the Gold Medal. At the 2015 Caroline won the Gold Medal in the Individual  Poomsae at the Arnold Classic. Caroline started competing in W.T Individual events in June 2015. Caroline was a member of the Australian Team at the Oceania Championships in Fiji which resulted in a Bronze medal for Individual event and a Silver Medal for Mixed Pairs division with GM Russell Wood. She also competed in the 2016 Australian Masters Games and the Pan Pacific Master winning Gold Medals in both Individual Poomsae events. In 2017 Caroline won the Gold Medal in the A Division at the 11th World Taekwondo Culture Expo in Muju South Korea.
Her biggest achievement was being selected in the Australian team for the 2018 World Championships in Taipei competing in the W.T Mixed Pair division with Master Damien Hauser.
In 2019 Caroline won Gold Medals at the Oceania President’s Cup and the Australian Open which were held at the Gold Coast after competing in both the Individual and Mixed Pairs with Master Damien Hauser. At the 2018 Australian National Championships Caroline won the Most Consistent Referee Award for her excellent work judging the high level events.

Sharell has been doing taekwondo since 2008 and was a National Poomsae champion from 2009 to 2016.

She has also won some medals in Kyorugi championship in state level and National as well.

She was also in National Australian Team for Oceania Championship 2016 in Fiji which she won Bronze medal in Individual Poomsae-Cadet division.

She also competed in some other open International championships.

In US Open 2013, she finished at rank 11th in Semi Final of Youth Poomsae division.

She won 3 Gold Medals for Poomsae and a Silver medal in Zealand Open 2014.

In 2015, she collected 1 Gold and 1 Silver medals in Poomsae and also in Sparring from Arnold’s Classic Championship.

In Muju – 11th World Taekwondo Culture Expo 2017, she grabbed Bronze medal in sparring.

In 2020, she won Bronze medal in Samjoko 1st Online Poomsae Championship.
