Koryo Taekwondo Centre’s Club Competition
Our club competition which was organised and run by Isabella and Sammy Rachele from our Shepparton Club turned out to be a great success.
Many thanks to all our Instructors, Assistant Instructors and Families for their support and hard work during the day.
We had two full sizes courts catering for both sparring and poomsae throughout the day. One of the many highlights today was to witness the Shepparton Special needs boys preform on the mat.2018 Para Kids 2018 Shep Comp

Australian Selections.

Monday, October 1st, 2018

The Koryo Taekwondo Centre would like to congratulate the competitors who scored 7.5 and above at the Australian Selections which gained them a place on the Australian Taekwondo Poomsae Team.
I understand the disappoint the other competitors who won their divisions but unfortunately did not achieve a score of 7.5 or above must be feeling as they had their hearts set on representing Australia at this years World Poomsae Championships.
I was part of the Australian Team who competed in Russia at World Poomsae Championships and I finished in 6th place.
However, the experience and knowledge I gain made me realise I had to train harder and develope my overall knowledge of Poomsae. I was then lucky enough to represent Australia at the World Poomsae in Mexico were I gained a Bronze Medal.
