Kukkiwon Dan Certificates.
I have to congratulate the Kukkiwon on their service as I applied for a number of Dan Certificates early May and received them on the 12th June.
This of course made my students and I very happy.
Thank you Kukkiwon.

June 4th TVI Competition

Monday, June 5th, 2017

The Koryo Taekwondo Centre would like to congratulate TVI for organising another competition this year for Victoria.
It was quite well organised and managed competition and along with the very friendly atmosphere all the Koryo students and parents were quite happy with the day.

Its a pity we do not have more Poomsae Judges at these competitions as it would help with getting our younger and less experienced competitors use to seeing the 5 or 7 Judges set up as specified in the WTF 2014 Rules.

I was surprised to see so fews Poomsae judges turn up to the A.T Refresher Seminar organised by Linda Pace as she had just return from attending another WTF Poomsae Refresher along with Judging internationally for the WTF. Linda shared her knowledged and experience with the few that turned up which included myself.

I’m also disappointed with the numbers to date registered for the OTU Poomsae Seminar scheduled for the 11th June.
As registrations close on the 8th June, it looks like this seminar will also be poorly attended.

I think that politics has a lot to do with the numbers attending these seminars which of course is a shame as the number of our of our Victorian Judges appears to be reducing at an alarming rate.

To try and improve the knowledge of our Taekwondo Community I have also invite younger students and parents to attend this seminar so as to bring as many people up to date as possible.

Subject: FW: Kyorugi Coach RCC Process – Clarification

If you have applied for a Kyorugi Coach RCC during the initial roll out period from 4 December 2016 to 28 March 2017 you do don’t have to re-apply or pay any fees for your RCC application.

It is taking some time to process RCC applications that were submitted through this period and we are only half way processing them. Be patient. Once all applications are processed you will be issued a new membership card with your accreditations on the back of the card. If you have applied for an RCC already I will contact you directly if additional information is required. Please refrain from emailing to ask how your application is progressing as it is overloading the admin office and slowing down our ability to progress the RCC approval process.

Yesterday’s correspondence was for members who wish to apply for Kyorugi RCC from the 17th May 2017 onwards
